The Rambo® Optimo Stable Plus (200g Medium) features innovative Split Technology, which allows the rug to pivot at the shoulder gusset, up and down and left to right. It lets the horse enjoy complete freedom of movement and prevents uncomfortable shifting.
Featuring padding on the wither to lift the blanket to prevent mane or wither rubs and adjustable innovative bib front closure to prevent rubbing on the underside of the neck and chest.
The breathable fabric ensures optimal airflow and 200 grams of fiberfill helps to regulate your horses body temperature, keeping them warm and dry. A detachable neck cover offers added versatility and warmth and can be easily removed if desired.
The rug is designed with three straight surcingles, ensuring a secure fit. Its adjustable front closure allows for a customised fit across the chest, enhancing both security and comfort. Additionally, the stable rug features a tail flap for extra coverage. The inclusion of a wipe-clean tail cord simplifies cleaning and maintenance, making this both practical and convenient for horse owners.
This rug is compatible with Horseware's Optimo Liners, allowing you to easily add additional layers for extra warmth if needed; liners sold separately.

How to measure
Horses of the same height at the wither come in many shapes and sizes, so take your horse's measurements:
- Using a soft measuring tape, measure from (A), the centre of the chest, across the point of the shoulder to (B), the centre of the tail.
- Take 10cm (4 inches) off that measurement and find your horse's size in the table below.
Every horse is different, so the tables are a guide only.

Which rug style suits my horse?
- Straight front: for an average build, a classic neck cut, or a V-Front for extra comfort.
- V-Front: for a deep-shouldered, narrow horse, a Surefit design with V-Front closure.
- Disc front: for a narrow-chested horse, a rug with the Disc Front closure.
- XL: for a deep-shouldered horse with a deep neck and wide build. The XL cut is 20% deeper in the neck and sides.
- Optimo: the same broad build can also go for Optimo rugs, which give the most freedom of movement.
- Wug: for high-withered, narrow horses, the Wug® reduces wither pressure. For very narrow or young horses, Wug® or All-In-One designs help the rug fit and stop it slipping.
