Beris Soft Kimblewick Bit with Tongue Port Bar

$408.00
Size
The tongue port bar has an especially flattened shape to the port. This gives the tongue optimum room. Many horses respond to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing. This bit is also very well suited to horses that play with their tongues, trying to get their tongue over the bit, as the port effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is thus eminently suited to horses that do not tolerate traditionally shaped bits due to the pressure on the tongue and react by head-shaking and the like. The Kimblewick bit is an effective combination of a lever effect on the branches of the horse‘s lower jaw, pressure on the poll and change of position of the bit inside the horse"s mouth. Three different buckling options allow the use of the bit to be fine tuned. The sturdy side pieces of the bit provide a certain "weight", which ensures a steadier position in the mouth.

Bits for the ambitious leisure rider and professional alike.
The beris bit factory in Schleswig-Holstein came into being as the result of years of manufacturing bits, the experience gained from this, skilled craftmanship and passion for equestrian sport: Out of passion for the horse.

The protection of the horse's sensitive mouth is most important to beris. From bit ring to the complicated cheekpiece: ever piece of metal is shaped by hand, welded and polished to perfection.
The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures a better acceptance of the bit and facilitates communication between horse and rider. The beris mouthpieces are made of a food safe plastic compound, processed and with a surface finish unequalled so far in the field of plastic bits. Their surface is very smooth and they slide easily in the mouth, even if the horse doesn´t produce much saliva. Practically all horses like our mouthpieces. They produce saliva, chew more and accept the bit readily. True craftsmanship Made in Germany.

Height of the tongue port 30 mm, Mouthpiece thickness 18 mm
